    Playing with the demo PassMark…

For my future FX upgrades, I wanted to get an idea on how the 260M compared to my new 560M and older 9800M. I also did some comparisons with the x9100 vs my 2430i5 @2.8 turbo to get an idea what I was to expect.

Intel may have revamped the ALUs on my i5, some of my math scores were not what I expected. The x9100’s were great.

The 9800MGTS that came up, on the P-7805u, really stomped my 560m. The rest are 260M, by the baselines, when downloaded. Lots of x9100s found but missed any 260M/x9100 FX Gateways.

Anyway, I expect the 9800m has fallen off the motherboard by now? Only clocks for the CPU were posted.

Next up: gather 260M motherboards, x9100, ram, what about heat pipes and media bar from the FX 6831? ($!) Way more reading to go, no?
