    Hello i bought this laptop today... here is the model

    The cpu currently has a AMD Mobile Sempron SI-40.. i was wondering if i would be able to upgrade it to something more with a little more kick like a Turion 64 X2 Mobile.

    Can you guys give me some feedback please... Both cpu's have the same pin configuration.. but im not sure if the bios will support it.

    I'm not so familiar with AMD but the processor will fit, both CPUs are socket S1. So I guess as long as there is a BIOS support is should work.

    Moving this to Gateway/eMachines section.
