Hello everyone, i own a p-7805u FX and after having had my notebook sent back to Best Buy for a harddrive replacement after a large amount of crashes i went through at the beginning when i purchased it, it seems this notebook still appears to be going through some crashes when i play world of warcraft.
I've read a large number of posts and threads to see why does this keep happening to me, mostly when im playing the game and at the same time i appear to be browsing firefox or something that keeps happening is i get a screen flickering after i exit wow most of the times. I was using the latest drivers from Nvidia site and i just rolled back to the gateway site ones just in case. I'm not so good when it comes to driver configuration etc but if anyone has any idea what the heck might be going on in my case and what recommendation you can give me to aleviate this problem i would soo much apreciate it.
I love this machine but these headaches with these drivers and nvidia are starting to make me wish i never got into gateway ><.
Thanks and would love to hear from anyone who could support in any way possible.![]()

Yes, it definitely sounds like a driver issue. I know it's not fun, but if all else fails, try a system restore using the restore CDs you (should have) made. No guarantee, because it could be a more serious issue, but it's worth a shot. Was it working at all after you bought it, or has it always done this even from the first day?
