Anyone done a upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit from a 32 bit Vista with a BIOS version 90.03?

Any of you guys having bugs? Cause it seems like BIOS version 90.03 dont like 64-bits.

My bug is when I shut the lid and go into sleep mode. When I open the lid the screen comes back on and there are white lines running horizontally on it. The only way to get rid of them is to restart. Sometimes a screeching sound comes through my speakers when coming out of sleep mode as well.

What model are you talking about?

Have you tried hibernation instead of sleep?

Have you checked if your inverter/cable is loose?

Have you tried with an updated BIOS (assuming what ever model you have has a BIOS update)?
