    Hey guys i just got my P-6831FX notebook today :p and I am loving it . Well i was just figure out how to make a fresh intstall of vista and how to partition the hard drive.

    Can you guys shrink the volume of C: to 100 GB? I cant shrink it for some reason.I already made the recovery disk but do you guys know how i can bring back the gateway recovery center? And how do I bring back the cool FX wallpaers? Thanks alot

    When you pop in the disk to do the clean install check the option to save a file called windows.old,this file will appear with the cleaned Vista and is a copy of your factory setup, you can pick and choose what you might want to keep and you can delete it when your done.
