I just wanted to share this in case anyone is having trouble with the volume of DVD playback in WMP.

Problem: Volume too low in Window's Media Player when watching a DVD. Websites and music playback has great loudness by comparison.

    Solution: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944436

I had to make the folders as described in the directions still easy enough for most to do. The results are great, the max volume for DVD playback has more than doubled.

Crappy speakers? I don't think so!

I didn't either, that's why there are directions on how to add it. Once you do that, continue to follow the directions for the desired effect.

I mentioned this in the original post.
