My problem is not major but I have noticed that the colors on my monitor are a lot more washed out compaired to my friends monitors. Everything looks whiter. How do I fix this? I suck with computers by the way.

download this and then right click your desktop, click on Nvidia Control Panel, under the display sub-tree, click manage desktop color settings. mess around with digital vibrance till you find a setting you like.

Yep. Always remember to use Digital Vibrance on your screen.

The 6860 screen can almost hang with the high end panels with the correct desktop color settings for brightness and clarity of color

(i like 54 digital vibrance with slightly adjusted brightness and contrast)
