looks like the gpu's bios has several settings for different states, ie the uvd and boot. i remeber i was gonna do something simular to that on my 8800gts but i decided to go with rivatuner and set up profiles, instead of possibly bricking it with bios tweaks. just my 2 cents

What Does (uvd) Mean Anyways?
I Can Change These Plans?how?
Thanks In Advance -
I dont know how to change your plans maybe a fellow owner of the m-686x cam help you on that, but uvd stands for unified video decoder which effects when your watching hd videos and bluray why they would have the state on your laptop is prolly incase you decided to add a bluray drive and watch bluray movies at 720p.
-
actually a quick google search reveals you would prolly have to modify the bios to change the states. ill read up a bit more on it since i have a few hours before work and nothing to do.
-
eboogie really appreciate the time your putting on this thank u so much man.Hope u come back with some good news.
-
id say really theres nothing to worry about, and from the 1st few pages of a techpowerup! guide i remember i modified my bios once or twice but basically i flashed a bfg card to evga just for a higher stock overclocked speeds lol. i wouldnt recommend doing this on a laptop but just for reference heres the link http://www.techpowerup.com/articles//overclocking/vidcard/154/1

GPU-Z 3.2 has giving me wrong clocks before, when an older version gave me the right clocks.
