I've been watching X9000 prices on ebay all year; I don't think I'm close to buying but I got an email saying that one had been posted that's within my price range. I clicked on the auction, and it took me here.

That seller seems to sell most of the X9000 chips that I find on ebay and he has a perfect feedback rating; however, in the item description, he says that he never took the chip out of the case. Then, two lines down, he said that he had it tested by a friend. Obviously, one of the two statements is false. It seemed strange to me because people had been buying his chips and he has good feedback.

Does anyone have any experience with this seller?

His feedback is good, but he hasnt sold very many items, so thats not too challenging. Id never recommend buying a processor from eBay. You never its past history, what has been done to it, etc. But thats IMO. I just recommend against it. It does look like it will save you alot of money, so, like i said, if you will take the chance, it could benefit you in the end. Maybe im just paranoid. :p
