7805u here! Here's the lineup I'm currently playing:

Or at least thats the order than I plan to play on my laptop.... midterms!

 

Just started Mass Effect, its running sloppy on my P6860 atm tho.

 

PES2009, COD4, RA3 (forcing myself to finish this one) and TF2

 

Far Cry 2, Mass Effect, and formerly Fallout 3. I stopped playing Fallout 3 and am currently waiting for the wonderful and talented modding community to fix Bethesda's broken as hell game for them. Again. For like the 3rd time in a row. But yeah, I've got a lot of respect for the modders who work so hard to get Bethesda games working at an acceptable level, because they really shouldn't have to.

Also Jet Force Gemini. I bought an N64 to usb adapter and some refurbished sticks. It is weird seeing all these N64 games on this screen though. That's what was good about 480i. You could get away with such low-res textures.

 

That's likely due to your CPU. 8800M GTS should be able to handle it easy. But 1.8Ghz is on the lower side.

Well the last time I played a game on here/the next time I play a game on here it was/will be Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl...

I'm hoping it picks up because it's really slow in the beginning, and I bought both it and the sequel thinking and still hoping it'll be totally awesome

 

Sins of a Solar Empire, Pirates!, Mirror's Edge, and Fallout 3 (least of the bunch, idk, not as fun to me as Oblivion, maybe its the story/setting or the fact that since its somewhat a shooter, i have shooter expectations with combat and its extremely clunky by comparison).

I have Counterstrike:Source on it too but I ussually play games on my desktop.

 

I don't play games on my p-7805u.

I bought it so I could develop games while at school. I'm heading up a pretty ambitious Unreal Tournament 3 Total Conversion.

Its a sci-fi 3rd person team game similar to the Arenas and Battlegrounds for World of Warcraft. It is a little more action/skill oriented than WoW, but also has tons of RPG elements like skill trees, stats, buffs, crowd control, melee, stealth, etc. It should be in beta in about a year.

 

Nice, that definatly sounds like something I would be wanting to check out. Keep us in mind when you go to beta with it

 

Company of Heroes is all I really play I got bored of Left 4 Dead.

How is Assassins Creed not an RPG when the whole time your playing the role of the main character....?

 

by that argument doom, crysis etc are all rpg's. u play the role of the main character.

 

if that were the case, EVERY game would be an RPG.

I normally prefer older games, I usually like to play older games that I played in my time, maybe classic NES games or Quake1/2. I decided to change flavors when I bought the 7811fx, why I bought 3 of these.

 

Layla Kayleigh On topic though, I'll be re-starting Fallout 3 and getting some ROM emulators. My most played game is kind of an old one, Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, but I've invested so much time into it, I can't seem to ever quit. I'm looking forward to Champions Online when it comes out sometime this year for some reason.

 

I'm using the 180.70 dox drivers.

 

What would Assassins Creed be labeled than? Not an FPS for sure..

L4D - finished yesterday. Had some freeze issues initially, but some googling solved it. Great FPS.

Now tackling Fallout3. Boring so far.

Yeah Fallout 3 is okay but I think the most over hyped title of the year next to GTA 4.

Take away VATS and the gameplay is Oblivion as a shooter, which doesn't work very well, it's a pretty -poor shooter compared to actual shooters out there. That and I just haven't found the setting/story to be anywhere near as interesting and fun as Oblivion. I actually as I play through have noted a handful of instances where the story could have went in different directions than the one's they chose and to me they would have been better off going down a different path.

 

COD3 was never released on PC.

 

I don't play on this laptop much, but the games I do play and have loaded are GTA IV, Crysis (love the mods, and screwing around in the editor), Crysis Warhead, FarCry2, Fallout 3, and TF2.

 

With the 7805U, I play GOD! muhahahahhaa!
Except crysis, crysis no good. overrated.

 

Count me in for another Fallout 3 hater. I wrote up a huge op-ed about everything wrong with the game. I know it is very popular, but I saw that game as one of the largest slaps to the face of intelligent gamers everywhere.
