I know this is a bit early to tell but it looks like my ZV6000 will be in (from Costco) after the next Gateway refresh. I am curious as to what people expect after this model. The only thing that stopped me from getting this model was the GPU. I'd like to have atleast a 128 MB 9700 or greater. Anyways, post your ideas and I am going to wait until they come out with a new model.

I hope it will be a x700 with a skt 939 Winnie, but I might be dreaming a bit here :)

I frankly thing Gateway's going to phase out the 7000 series. If there is a next model, I predict it will have the same 64MB RADEON 9600 as in all the other models. There isn't really much further they can go with the Mobile Athlon 64, and the memory has probably also reached it's practical maximum. And it's only so useful to keep releasing models where the only difference is a slightly bigger hard drive.

    Gateway 7422GX: AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 1024MB DDR RAM, 64MB Mobility RADEON 9600

AVERATEC AV3270-EH1: AMD Mobile Sempron 2800+, 512MB DRR RAM, 64MB (shared) S3G Unichrome
