    Hey all, what's the transfer rate/speed of the 250gb hd on P6831?....PLZ edit topic title, should be P6831 NOT 8631...thanks!

    I want to get another 250gb hard drive but I want to match up the transfer rates for the new drive because if I get a drive with a faster transfer rate it won't necessarily be beneficial since it's operating in raid 0....or so I think...

    Anybody know the transfer rate? Thanks!

    Just get a second WD 250 drive. A lot of people found the same internal drive on sale in the external passport drive for less than the bare drive. I did the same but have not gone RAID at this time. Search the forums and read the sticky for more info.
