I was thinking of getting a 16GB SSD (SATA) to put in the second Mini PCIe slot and using it for the paging file/Ready Boost. Anyone else got any other ideas?

They make specific 1/2 mini PCIe SSD's. I think they go up to 64GB now. Thats what i have in mine (though not that large) and i'm waiting for a 128 to come out. They are pretty slow (compared to my main SSD, but once you put the info on them it will last forever (assuming only read requests to the drive)

It will be good for a page file... but for ready boost will kind of fail as the transfers are about equivilant to a 7200RPM drive so you're not getting anything "extra" for it
