After owning my FX for 3 days, the inevitable happened! My 2 yr old son pushed a chair and climbed up to my kitchen island (my laptop is housed there for the most part) and before I knew it, he had his oily hands all over the glossy screen

I cleaned it using a flannel cloth and some warm water but still can't get all the oily stuff off (he was eating chicken nuggets at that time ).

Any professional cleaners out there to take the oil off?

    Thanks

I use Windex...with ammonia D! Seriously, never ever damaged any screen of mine or screens at work, unless you flood the back light..spray on cloth first.

...or you can go to office depot and they will be glad to sell you several screen cleaners.

80% water, 20% alcohol mixture... sprayed on microfiber cloth, or your most worn out 100% cotton T-shirt.

alcohol to cut the oil... not too strong, it can damage the coating on the LCD if too strong.... never spray directly on the LCD.

    good luck,

I use a ammonia and alcohol free cleaner (basically de-ionized water and polymers) and a microfiber cloth. And as people have said, don't spray the cleaner directly on the lcd but on the cloth.

Monster brand LCD/Plasma cleaner with an included microfiber cloth. It cleans the entire laptop with no damage to the screen.
