    I just ordered a P-172S FX...

    Will this run games better than my old desktop.

    AMD X2 4200+ 2.2 GHZ

    GeForce 8800GTS 320mb

    1.5 GIGS of ram running at 667 MHZ ddr2

    I forgot the scores it did on 3dmark..

    Also how smooth will this monitor be? Compared to a LCD monitor what type of MS would it be and such? I just wanna know if I'm going to want to hook up a monitor.

    Well the laptop has more ram, more memory on gpu for textures, but cpu is a little slower. Will you notice a generous difference? I'd probably say, probably not. Just stick with the laptop and forget desktops!

    The desktop is dead... But I think that AMD processor sucked..Just a feeling this laptop will dominate my FPS that I got in CS:Source.

    The laptop GPU will be pretty equal, since I think it's probably a G92 (correct me if that's wrong) and your desktop's isn't. The desktop's CPU is worse, I'd suggest an upgrade to at least a T7500 or T8100 in that laptop, other than that, yeah, the laptop is pretty close. Your desktop probably had a 7200RPM drive though, the laptop has a 5400RPM drive, which is slower.

    i thing it would be better
    GPU: 8800 GTS (96 SP) = 8800m GTX (96 SP) -> 8800m GTS (64 SP)
    Cup Is better if it's T5750 2.0Ghz
    Ram speed is better cause is Dual Chanel and speed is the same and 3gigs vs 1.5 gigs
    i thing you will get same FPS but i'm suspicious that you will get higher FPS cause 8800m GTS GPU (G92) is more efficient than 8800 GTS and better CPU
