    Dear all,
Does anyone know what is coming down the line in gateway production? Is the composition of good video (880m gts)& crappy processor t5457 going to change? The time period I am interested in is this summer.

    Thanks.

I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the higher end FX notebooks trickle down to retail.

Remember though, even if the CPU has a slow clockspeed its still a Core 2 Duo and it would still totally destroy a 3.8 Ghz Pentium 4 :D

yep, I put everything to medium (textures and objects to very high) it runs quite well (25-40 FPS)

I can also run Bioshock maxed out at 40 FPS avg.

FEAR maxed at 100 FPS avg.

... and it takes all of 20-30 minutes to add a faster CPU.
