    Hi,

I need to do a fresh XP install on my 3520GZ. Does anyone know where the drivers are kept on the hard drive. On my HP laptop, they are in the SWsetup folder. I know you can restore the drivers using the restore manager on the Gateway laptop. I need to them. Thank you for your help.

When you reformat and install a fresh copy of XP, the entire hard drive is wiped. So there option to load your drivers from a folder is not there anymore.

You need to go to the laptop manufacturer's website and get the drivers from there.
