I need to reformat my hd and know that this is the application I should use (I am going back to Vista on my primary HD after trying XP; I kept the original HD untouched and used as a storage drive). I bought this laptop 1 week old, so I am hoping that it is installed, but I can't find it anywhere.
Also, in case it isn't installed, what is another option?
Thanks!
EDIT: Okay, I'm pretty sure I don't have it because I don't have a D partition and GRC isn't in my programs list. Can I download it?

If you dont have a D partition then you are out of luck. Even if you did somehow find a place to download it, GRC would be useless seeing as it accesses your D partition.

just use the dvd you got from gateway
boot from it, that it. -
I ended up just downloading the drivers from the Gateway site.

the latest gateway laptops dont ship with a recovery cd.you have to make one from your new laptop, make it one of your first jobs when u recieve a new laptop couse if vista goes down your stumped. recovery cd only took 6 mins to wright on dvd with gateway ml 3108b.
