Hey guys. I'm not sure why it's asking for the driver but I purchased 2x320GB hard drives and a retail copy of windows 7 and now it's asking me for a raid driver because it can't find any drives when I try installing windows. I have installed raid before on my desktop and never had this issue with windows 7 or vista.

Does anyone know where I can download the driver? I have the Gateway P-7811FX

    Thanks

Does this work with other P-78xx laptops?

Since all P-78xx laptops are pretty much identical other than the CPU they come with or resolution of the screen, I would say yes. Not to mention they're intel raid drivers, they're not for any particular machine really.
