    Which of the Gateway FX (7805u, 7811, 6831, etc) has the longest battery life? (in hours?)

    There's little difference but the 7805 and 7811 both run centrino 2 which is designed to use less power...

    mine lasted about 2.5 hours with p8400(stock).
    haven't had time to check x9100 yet but t9600 and t9800 lasted about same for web browsing and watching movies(regular use).
