Who will be buying the P-6831FX from BB on the 2/17?

I was just curious who would be taking advantage of the sale from Best Buy tomorrow.

So who's up?

 

I went out to take a look at one at BB today. Only 1 store in my area even has them in stock. Hopefully they will still have them tomorrow.

 

I'm considering it. I wanted to buy a R61/T61 from Lenovo, but I'm only in the US until March 3rd, so that might not be such a good idea

 

Picked one up Thursday planning ahead for the sale this sunday.
Already dropped a T9300 in it and couldnt be happier with my purchase.

 

I´ll be in the US form march 9Th to March 16th. I dont have any false hope that this offer will last until then...
But I was hoping that the supply would be enough to have some in stock when I am there...
If I can´t find any I will be very disappointed,heh...

 

I am hoping to get it on Sunday, also. Too bad right after I buy it, I will be leaving for the Caribbean islands, which means no clean Vista install before I have to use it.

I CAN CONFIRM THE PRICE!! I went into BB to buy a 4 GB SD card for ready boost (sale) and seen that the P-6831FX was on sale!!!!! So I immediately went home and grabbed my receipt since I was within the 14 price match offer. BAM!!! 350 back......All that means is I spent more money on toys 1TB HD and a Raptor 200 Good luck everyone...hope people can find that price with them in stock....get a rain check if anything

Confirm - best buy in Naperville, IL had 6 of them. Person I know there said they can’t sell till tomorrow...just an FYI for anyone in the Chicago land area!

Were 1699.99 on 2-17-08 1349.99!!

 

There were only 2 in town today and I won't be able to hit BB early tomorrow so I went ahead and purchased the computer tonight. Tomorrow afternoon I'll be getting my price adjustment and Crysis.

 

Now go back tomorrow when they will be on further sale of $1200 and get your $150 more back plus free game!

Just checked the best buy website. They lowered the price from $1699 to $1349. So if you miss the sale at least it's still cheaper

 

I hope bestbuy is based off central time or maybe they will update there site at a decent hour, but at a little past 12 its still at 1349

 

It will have to be after their stores on Pacific Time have closed.

Ok. Just checked the site again and they've updated it to the sale price: $1,200. Happy Buying!

 

Almost none of the BB stores around my place has it.....

 

Well I checked online on Friday and my local BB had them in stock. Just checked and noticed they are sold out online and my local BB has none in stock......damn.....

 

I am glad to report that I have bought a P6831FX from my local BestBuy. Sorry to hear about all the other people who weren't able to buy one, I guess it isn't as popular in my area.

 

Lol, they were available at the 6 bestbuys in the area 2 hours ago, totally wiped out now. I was on the verge of getting one, but decided I would rather get gateway's retail models. Hope whoever bought one likes it.

I went to my local best buy at 10:10 ( they open at 10) and i got the last one. I really dont like this only 2 max per store deal. The computer is very nice.

 

I just got mine, 1 more left from the store I went to. Excellent deal. Maybe deal of the year in terms of laptops and bang for your buck. Unless gateway comes out with ANOTHER deal with 9 series or something.

 

I did, but it was no in stock so i will get it the 21st. Also i bought it a day earlies at the 1700 price, but will go to BB tomorrow for price adjustment and my free game.

 

Blah all the bestbuys in my area are out of them too...

 

my old lappy bit the dust on friday. So most of Saturday I was looking for laptops. I was looking at Alienware and Dell, the only thing I hated was the wait time. I went to best buy to check which Dells they had. They didn't have the one I wanted or the configuration. Good thing they didn't. I saw the laptop on Saturday night and I thought to myself that isn't a bad deal and it was around $1399. Checked the ads early Sunday morning and it was only $1199. After debating for a long while I jumped online and bought it with an instore pickup. I'm usually particular about which brands I buy and was a little hesitant at picking this up, but so far a solid laptop. I'm having a minor issues, but I saw some answers on the forum and hopefully its just a driver update.

 

I went by BB today to see this laptop in person and the place they had for the display model was empty. Completely sold out.
