This has been happening for about a week now. The damn fans wont shut off. The temps are low CPU is hovering around 25*C and the GPU around 39*C.

I don't remember it ever doing this, So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

    The TZ is 35*/37*

As far as the rest of it, how do you view temps for stuff that isnt on HWMonitor?

What have you done recently to the system?"
New CPU, BIOS update, New OS, etc

We dont have those temp sensors in the FX models so the only way to get those temps would be with a thermal gun or other thermometer

hrm... if you installed it a while back it shouldnt all the sudden be doing that.

Have you cleaned it recently? Maybe something is touching the fan connectors and is causing s weird short making it stay on all the time.

Your temps are well with in normal range so your fans shouldnt be staying on high all the time because its not needed... odd

It nice because it keeps the temps low. but it gets old quick. I wounder if updating the bios would fix it. I never updated the bios.

Mostly because i don.t know how.

I think .12 and .17 have been the best BIOS so far.

I'm not sure how they have them set up in the BIOS thread though. I've never had to deal with it with my 6860 so i havent flashed anything except my M17x and that was an OS executable flasher.

The easieet way is with a USB floppy drive and copying the new BIOS to that and having that as your first boot option. But i hope that changes soon because floppy is next to worthless except BIOS flash now days

I know i know... its a bit like giving up MP3's for an 8track, but for some reason thats how alot of BIOS updates still come.

Hopefully the BIOS come with flashers though, but i havent really read the BIOS thread that detailed due to it not really pretaining to my system.
