    I have a P-7915u and I was wondering if it's compatible with this external hdd:

    I looked at the specifications for my laptop and it says it has an IEEE1349a interface along with USB 2.0. But it doesn't speficially state it has an ESATA interface, despite having an ESATA port clearly visible.

    It should work, the laptop does have an eSata port. Also if all else fails you can connect it with a usb cable.
