I want to put windows 7 on my gateway e-100m, I've tried contacting gateway to see if this was possible but they were no helped. My main concern is drivers and what version of windows 7 if any can I run. I am currently running XP Media Center. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I've looked up the specs of the E-100M and to be honest, I don't think you should put 7 on that machine. The Core Solo running at 1.2GHz will be a serious hit on performance as will the 512MB RAM that is installed (unless you have upgraded your RAM). You'd be better off sticking with XP on your laptop as it wouldn't really be a good idea to install 7. Imagine running 7 Home Premium or Professional on a netbook. 7 on the E-100M would be worse.
