You have to upgrade the video drivers...
You have to install the media reader drivers...
Use the ones meant for vista, they work fine on 7.
If you installed 32-bit windows 7, use 32-bit windows vista drivers. If you installed 64-bit windows 7, use 64-bit windows vista drivers. -

Navigate to this key in the registry and make the following changes:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Settings
3. Right-click and create a new DWORD (32-Bit) Value called AllowElevatedProcess.
4. Right-click AllowElevatedProcess and click Modify. Set the value to 1. Close the registry editor -
got it. it works now. i thought it was suposed to upgrade automatically from windows update

I installed it a week ago and I've had no problems so far...I love it! Its a big improvement over Vista.
