This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Well it really depends on which one u use. You can look at your services list. (type services in the search bar) But you can type it into google. I know they have a lot of websites that have useful information on how to tweak vista so it runs faster.. Just gotta look.

    I suggest downloading a FREE utility called Process QuickLink- LINK. It launches Task Manager with a small icon beside each Process running. Clicking on the icon will open your internet browser and display an explanation of that process...then you can determine whether you need it or not!

    TweakNow is another good little program to edit your boot up programs.

    I use TuneUp Utilities 2009. It's payware but it does everything you can ask for. For system maintenance, it's the best hands down.
