EDIT: This may be an XP driver for the HDMI *AUDIO* component, not for the video, which is supported by the standard drivers.

I have a feeling someone must've Googled this by now, but this seems too perfect: Link

The question mark is there because I have no way of knowing whether this works or not at present and would like to know if it does.

EDIT 2: Here is a copy of the 1.0.0.30 driver (same as stock) someone ripped from a 177-series driver. The INF seems to support all Windows OSes (there's mention of "NVHDA32" and "NVHDA32V" which leads me to believe it does XP32): http://iknowu.net/files/Nvidia/Nvidia_HDMI_Audio_Driver_1.0.0.30.zip

There are also alternate versions (R25 and R28): http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showpost.php?p=14505386&postcount=1860

Flip, it's not video support we're trying to get - the HDMI audio doesn't seem to work under XP.

EDIT: May have just found an XP-safe 1.0.0.30 driver.
