I own an MX6454 with a broadcom 802.11g card. For some reason, my wireless keeps dropping out over 802.11b for no reason. The system retains its DHCP information, but the wireless network drops stalls / drops out.

The signal will still have full strength but I cannot open anything on my local network or on the internet, even though it still has an IP, etc. The wired connection and other wireless cards do not have this issue in the laptop.

I tried reinstalling the broadcom drivers, and even looked up drivers for the actual card manufacturer instead of broadcom's ref drivers. Nothing seems to work right.

Now... Here is another thing I noticed... If I switch routers and go to my 802.11g router, it works. Anyone ever had anything like this happen?
