My Wireless card isn't working, even the little light-up icon under the touchpad isnt working?

I have never really worked with laptops or wireless for that matter, and i have no idea what to do

    What notebook do you have?

What wireless card do you have?

Have you accidently turned off the switch on the computer?

Have you accidently used Fn+F2 and turned off wireless?
