    Wireless function and half-mini card problem

    I came across a 5100 half height mini wireless card and a broadcom full height bluetooth card. if i use the half slot for WiFi, i loose the ability to turn on or off the wireless function of the notebook. the switch doesnt do anything neither does the FN f2 or f6. The wireless card DOES show up and installs. the bluetooth does not- typical since the install as soon as the wireless function is enabled. is there a work around??!!!!! please help!!!
