Hey so I posted once before - happy I was a lucky ones who received 1920x1200
    This was back in May
my laptop has been great...no issues--- no crashing ----nothing - just a pleasure to own... and i use it every day
and I Work this machine alot sometimes

Everything has been great until TODAY
Last night (or this morning) around 2am I shut her down and went to sleep..about 3 or 4 am my girl woke up and asked me if she can use the laptop
so she turns it on and says - the internet isn't connecting
so I look and i'm like, make sure the wireless is on because its a sensitive slide button
    so it still wasn't working...
    and the Icon on the tray (by the system time) was flashing between the two pictures;
the picture of 2 p/c with the red -showing no connection - and the 5 bars that show signal strength
    It's never done that before
anyway i get up and power cycle both the modem and the wireless router
rebooted the laptop... it connected for a minute..then lost connection
I did this again and it worked ok and i went back to bed
Later this morning, I woke up and tried to get on and it wasn't working
I have been trying for some time now and it's been intermittent
I am wondering if the wireless adapter has problems now??
the laptop is now hardlined into the modem and it's fine - so the issue isn't the actual internet connectivity from the provider...
it's either the internal card or the wireless router (linsys wrt160n)
I went to the gateway site and saw there was a new BIOS update as of yesterday so I downloaded it and will see if that helps...
    any other input appreciated...
I hope this card didn't overheat or get fried somehow....

Try to uninstall the driver for the wireless adapter and then reinstall it again. Restart the computer and see if it works. Not to worry too much, as I believe you can always replace the wireless adapter.
