just apoint but don't most people buy the laptop to play games on. the FX one specifically. that mouse though color coordinated, isn't exactly gaming grade. for people on long gaming sessions, the small mouse will cramp one's hand a lot. i would much rather go with a larger razer or logitech mouse.

true gaming wise, small mouse is a real pain, however when on the go it might be useful.

I think it looks cool as well. Won't use it for gaming, but might put it in my backpack for times when my MX518 is too big.

I want a mouse that when clicked resembles stepping on a bag of doritos.

maybe there a program that can play sounds when you click, then just record yourself stepping on a bag of doritos

turn it up really loud, go out in public and confuse people.

i wouldn't get it, it doesn't seem like if would be as comfortable as my lachesis.i wish i was good enough to do a little led mod, so i would have a orange/black instead of blue/black.

i can set the colour of the LED on my logitech g9 to the same orange as the laptop. the mouse is all black too so it matches quite nicely.

The Razer Krait matches the FX the best. Orange and black.

VX nano here... has treated my very nicely so far... no skipping on just about any material and the wireless had been on par thus far (good for light gaming)

Seconded on the VX Nano. God, I love that mouse! Logitech pretty much shot the moon with that one. If it weren't for the G5 having adjustable dpi and being a bit more comfortable for gaming, I'd never switch out!

Anything more than three buttons and simple design is absolutely unnecessary. I'm not going to spend tens of hours a day holding onto a mouse. -.-

$30 is my limit for a mouse. There's absolutely no need to spend so much on such a silly device unless you're a heavy photoshop user or really want to waste money.

Note: The Razer Krait is sold for $30 with free shipping on Amazon.com

while the krait is a great mouse, its may be a bit small and light for some.
    great value for sure.

True. Then again, there are several options under $35 that allows the user to rest their palm on it.

Anyways, here's a list of accessories I have or will have for this laptop:
Mouse Pad to prevent cursor from skipping:

I hope you don't mean for a gaming mouse. If so, that's your opinion only. Personally, I like my Logitech G5 and my MX518, because I like having the 2 side buttons. Very nice for reload and crouch... ;)

I decided to cancel my Razer Krait order and pay $5 more for the Razer Diamondback 3g, which is a laser mouse rather than optical. I got it in fire red, which I realize won't match the 7811 as closely as the krait, but it will come close.
