Will the new p-7811 fit in this bag with the battery plugged in (i know it juts out a bit at the end, not sure how much however) ?

    http://www.slappa.com/velocity-matrix-laptop-backpack

The laptop compartment specs for the 17" bag is 16"x14", and its 15"x12" for the 15.4" bag.

The dimensions of the lappy are 1.3"-1.70" (H) x 15.75" (W) x 11.75" (D) , so i imagine it would fit in the 17" bag but not the 15.4", but I'm not quite sure because it's a widescreen as opposed to a normal one. I also don't know how much the battery increases the depth. If its a smaller difference then 2.25", then it should fit. Can anyone verify?

Also, if anyone has this bag could you put a word in for it, because it's probably my number 1 choice so far as I'm going to university in a few weeks, and i don't want a bag that absolutely screams "hey hes got a laptop lets mug him" :p

Looks like a cool bag. The 17" should be more than large enough. The battery only sticks out about 1" at most.

I have an Alienware 17" bag that also fits and has lots of additional room for other stuff.

    Cheers,
    Ira

If worse comes to worse you could always just remove the battery and keep it in the storage area.

A sleeve is cheaper and more efficient than buying an expensive laptop bag.

I'm not your buddy, guy. :p
