Can anyone who has an X9100 tell me what there temps usually run around? And also if you have a QS or OEM chip and if you see any difference between the two. Thanks

    idle (UVed @ 1.05V) TZS0: 56C; TZS1: 58C; Core0: 42.3C; Core1: 44C

I dont know if I have a ES or OEM CPU (although the ebay seller did mention that my X9100 equipped p7805u was straight from the factory)....not until i open it up and apply ICD7.

temps stated above are with stock TIM compound/thermal pad working in conjunction with overvolted (9v) NXZT Cryo and (9v) NB-MA1 evercool USB fan extractor attached to CPU vent. Hopefully, i should see a nice drop in temp once the X9100 has ICD7 applied as well. Not too confident about tackling the GPU though which idles at 45C (OCed @ 700/925/1900).

Hmm, that is pretty warm compared to the p series. Is there any chance you could test it out for me without cooling?

without Cryo LX & NB-MA1 extractor (same settings for everything else):-

    TZS0: 60C
    TZS1: 60C
    Core0: 44C
    Core1: 50C

makes me wonder if there is any point in using the Cryo LX & NB-MA1 in the 1st place!

Yeah Im not so sure about external cooling myself. So in your experience has the x9100 shown considerably more heat while gaming for long hours? Has your comp ever overheated on you causing it to report an error?

This is a X9100? Did you do anything special to it? This just seems very low, especialy for a 44TDP proc.

nah havent BSODed whilst heavy gaming.

Latest stock nvidia drivers did cause some artifacting though....reverted to older version and problem solved.

nothing special. i use formula 5 from Antec silver thermal compound for CPU. Stability test on everest_start will increase the CPU temp. to around 65C. The room temp. is around 17C. that's all i can tell...^o^

    17°C = 62.6°F

Thats a damn cold room. I'd have to wear a big jacket to use the laptop.
