    X9100 temp spikes

    Setting aside my idle temp woes, this one goes out to all fellow X9100 7805u users:-

    1). what X9100 CPUs reside in your notebook (QS E0 or OEM C0)?

    2). ever experienced bizarre temperature spikes ie. one core : 98-100*C, the other registering -20*C (<---- that isnt a typo)?!

    3). What are your max. temps under load eg. IntelBurnTest/OCCT linpack/Prime?

    trying to figure what the hell is wrong with my set up.

    That would be a problem with the temp sensors. Any sort of instant spike is probably because of the sensors.

    ive got no issues at all with mine.

    idles anywhere from 28-34c

    load max ive ever seen is at 79c but usually around 69-75c
    (this is after a few hours of l4d2 gaming)

    my x9100 is E0
