    Hi All.

I finally got my 2nd hard drive for my 7811 and am trying to set up a dual boot with it.

I currently intend to set one of the partitions on the 2nd drive as active and place XP on it. My plan is to change which drive boots first (at the start up/boot screen) as my way of getting to XP.

I've got a couple questions with this method.

Some people have written that this is not a good option, but they didn't really elaborate why.

I've read that it might cause problems with System Restore (is that right)?

Will Vista or XP add stuff to the other drive on its own (or is that a function of installing Vista on an XP machine)?

Will drive letters be a problem? I currently don't intend to do much with XP aside from logging into work (they're not compatible with Vista) and installing a software firewall.

Anything else I should be aware of?

    thanks in advance,

    - Frank
