Would anyone be able to tell me how to see which bios version I have?

Go into your BIOS when starting up, it should say the version somewhere.
If not, use CPU-z to check. -
Mine says on the first screen that comes up when my computer starts up.

If you don't want to have to restart, you can go to start > all programs > intel matrix storage manager and click view > system report, it should say your bios version in the system report. If you have the 7811 then it will be 9c.05.00 or 9c.08.00 I think
