Oh crap! I JUST bought a T7500 off of Fleabay for $165.00. Would it be worth it to sell it back and then get the T9300? I'm really not sure if the extra 2 MB of L2 cache is worth 2x the price I just paid for the T7500. Any advice would be helpful.

In anycase, thanks for posting the information.

From what I've heard, it also takes less power to run, so you get more battery life. You can take that into account for your decision.

That's interesting considering they're both rated at 35W processors. Power shouldn't be an issue for me since I'm plugged in 99% of the time. But man, it's just so tempting to sell my T7500 for the T9300.

Nice find. I've been looking around for the t9300 from a vendor like Newegg (in case I have installation problems). They have the best customer service and once I sell my other laptop this is gonna be my first upgrade :)

Yep the Core 2 Extreme QX9300 is Socket P compatible so it should just plug right in! However, its estimated to cost around $1000 so that is a steep upgrade. However, it is something to look forwrad to...maybe next year.

Yes I ordered the T8300 early yesterday morning and just installed it about 15 minutes ago. I actually was looking to get the T9300 but did not see them on Newegg at the time I must have overlooked it or placed my order to quickly but its all good. I am still waiting on my Gskill memory though. I think the driver drove off with it still on his truck.
