you running vista? If you are that is the problem... Down grade to XP then things get to work much much better.
-
simpler suggestion i can suggest is that you check your RAM through the BIOS, press the F2 or any other function button that your LAPTOP tells you to, to access the bios. it either could really be only 8mb that you have to increase the size,. OR you need to update your drivers i see you have intel945 IGP? man thats old i dnt know if it can run CS source -
You have the Intel GMA 950 with a whopping 0 Mb of dedicated memory. With your system, it can share up to 256 Mb of shared RAM. The system will automatically allocate it as necessary.
This is a very poor graphics card and will not be able to play many games. The operating system, Vista or XP, has nothing to do with it. -
eh. this is frustrating. i have a great system otherwise, why would they sell a laptop with a good processor, 2gb ram, and a ****ty GPU...
-
Not everyone needs a good GPU.
-
lol if u wanted to do some gaming you shouldve done some research into a better GPU, even intergrated nvidia 6100 is better
-
I believe it was a Christmas present. Researching something you don't know you're going to get is a little tricky.
-
is there any way to allocate more memory to the GPU? i dont understand why the one report says i have 224 MB...
-
Allocating more memory won't do anything. It may even slow the system down.
