    ok my question is for adding a second hard drive in 6831 what type does it have to be?
    It just has to be a 2.5 sata notebook drive right? nothing special?

    Yes, this laptop does take a 2.5 sata notebook drive, the one in your laptop is a Western Digital 5400rpm 250gb 2.5 sata drive

    Yeah, any 2.5 will work, but if you want to use RAID 0 you will need 2 Identical HDD's or at least the same capacity and speed.

    thanks i just bought an 80 gig 5400 sata 2.5 drive
