    temps seem to be fine, everything in the laptop seems to be idleing around 40C. havent tryed any games yet, but i wanna undervolt the cpu, whats the key to get into the bios on this laptop, and what, if anything, do i need to disable and what voltage can i undervolt it to.

    you better play some games to make sure you don't have one of the faulty ones......If your game freezes mid-way through each time (no matter driver updates ect), you will mostly likely be back at best buy :D

    yeah back to BB like i am about 2 do right now. Screen turned off on me, and in few minutes came back, but not in windows but in loggin screen and it said i am locked. then when i logged back, in a few minutes screen went off again but this time never came back so had to turn lappy off. Oh yeah n various heating problems n such. These gateways so crazy lol

    Check this for undervolting. I got down to 0.925V with the P8400. Now I have the P9500 and using at 1.0V

    kk i played tf2 for 45 minutes, heres what i got, no freezes, but i did notice that sometimes it would skip. and that theres alot of stress on the 1st core but not 2nd, why doesnt it even it out?

    In my experience, the CPU runs so cool, I don't see a reason to mess with the voltages unless you're trying to squeeze every last minute out of the battery. I let my laptop run SMP client and I don't recall it going over 60C ever.

    Try updating the drivers.

    the nvidia drivers? if so, i already did, theyre at 176.15
