I was just wondering if there was gonna be a new gateway laptop out, possibly with a 9-series or 200-series. In other words, should i just by the gaming laptop out right out now by Gateway or wait for the next gaming laptop. Thank's for all the help!

Buy it now. From what we see on the desktops, the 9 and 200 series are not that much superior to the 8 series when it comes to the high end... The 8800(g92) is still one of the kings when it comes to gaming performances...

of course there will always be something coming out that will be newer and chance of being better. for me, i had to just compare what is out RIGHT NOW, find the 1 i wanted, then decide how long i could wait. when it went on sale (thank you BB) i stopped waiting and bought.

Agreed. If you wait for the latest and greatest, you'll NEVER buy anything. The 8800m GTS is an amazing card as it stands and is able to play any game out now and probably into the future. Albeit you may not get 100s of FPS, but the human eye processes fluid video at around 30fps, so 100FPS+ is not necessary. The way I have Crysis configured, I get around 28FPS avg and it looks perfect.
