    best cahce size when creating your raid array?

    mine defaults to 128, someone told me the lowest setting would be faster?

    The stripe size is generally accepted as optimal/defaulted at 128....although some claim 64 would be faster..... all in all... it really depends on what you really do with your files.... meaning smaller files will be spliced more frequently with 64 as opposed to 128... which the size basically sets the minimum size that the file is split between drives..... then again this is for RAID 0 from my understanding.... I am not sure about the other raid types.... check out this reading for more information
