    blue screen of death when installing ram on a 3520gz! help!

    when i install my 1 gb ram for my 3520gz laptop, i get the blue screen of death!

    when i take if out, my laptop seems to work fine.

    the ram that i purchased is PNY technologies pc2700 ddr-333/266.

    did i purchase the wrong ram for my laptop? it doesnt seem to work. do i need to upgrade bios or something? my old ram that came with the laptop, samsung pc2700, doesnt seem to work too. when i put that in, i get the same error. anyone know whats up? help!

    Maybe it's not seating properly

    Make sure they pop or click in all the way and seat evenly.

    it is seated in all the way. the tabs on the side click in. its wierd how that screen comes on.
