ok, this is a weird glitch...every time I shut the lid on my 7811 and then open it, the resolution drops....normally it's 1920 x 1200 but if i close and open the lid it is 1600 x 1024...not the end of the world, but it sure is a pain to reset it each time...any tips?

oh, and on the power options, i have it set that when the lid is closed nothing happens

Have you tried to change the res in the Nvidia control panel and then click "use these settings on start up"?

What driver are you using? I remember there were some drivers that ended up resetting resolution and resetting Vigital vibrance due to coding errors (since fixed if i'm not mistaken though)
