    hi guys I was wondering if I could exchange the CPU of mi dell vostro to mi gateway FX, in the vostro i have the 2.4 ghz and in the FX the 1.8 is this possible?

    If it is 800mhz fsb then probably... if 1066mhz nope. I'm assuming you have a 6*** FX and not a 7***FX due to the cpu...

    Is the vostro centrino 2?

    Is it the t8300? If so then yes the CPU swap will go perfectly
