    crysis dx 9 vs dx 10

    i personally have only warhead, but i assume that this would apply to both games...what do you guys play with, directx 9, or directx 10? i've been noticing a bout +12 fps when using dx9, and after looking at some comparision shots online, i really can't notice the differance...but what about you guys, what do you use? is there something i'm missing, is dx10 better?

    DX9, DX10 is a joke, read the warhead on m1710 thread to get 2 custom configs.

    Even on my desktop rig with a Geforce GTX 260 I use dx9 mode because I can't tell any difference between that and dx10 mode, and the framerate is much higher.

    but i really cant tell which is better lmao

    DX10 is placebo, they tell you its better graphics you THINK ITS better graphics.

    Its funny how companies can manipulate people lol.

    Yeah i don't notice any differences in game mostly bc i am playing the game too much to give a crap about any subtle differences there MIGHT be between the two and i would rather have the higher frames and smoother game play.
