I just placed an order for the GATEWAY P-7811 FX LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 17" WUXGA GLOSSY then as soon as I place the order I found this GATEWAY P7805U LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 17" WUXGA

I did a search prior and it never turned up, figures it would after I placed the order.

Also are the new LCD on the 7805s not glossy?

I was in such a rush since i leave tomorrow for Iraq again, so if anyone can tell me which one I need for my 7805 it would help tons
    glossy or not glossy

The screen for the 7811 will work in the 7805... but it might be more helpful to list the model number of the screen you purchased, as a good few screens (of various resolutions) work in the gateway chassis

All the Gateway's I've seen have a glossy screen. But I haven't seen all that many.

As Jedi2155 said, all Gateway screens are default Glossy so no worries there.

As to your 3 links... i would place money on the fact that they are selling the same screen under different part numbers.

With as little information as is listed theres no telling what screen you'll actually get. It will be 1920x1200 but other than that there is no idea at the brand.

    You should be fine though

Ebay would be cheaper and probably a little bit riskier, plus you have to choose between qs es and some people sell oem chips, also some sellers don't mention what the correct stepping is.
