They forward all of your information to a terrible scam business.

MY cell phone was called at least 50 times over 2 weeks by a machine.

do a google search on it, they forward your information to a well known credit scam place in virginia.

wierd...I've had gateway credit for the past month and a half, ever since I ordered my P-171S FX on 2/11. I haven't gotten one call.

The company is called "paradigm" and they only get to harass you if you get turned down by Gateway for credit...They try to sell you a refurbished $400 computer for about 2-2.5 in payments over a couple of years, and they will call you about 2-3 times a day....It is pretty horrendous that gateway would be associated with a company like that.

You can opt out of it when you apply. There's a check marked box you have to uncheck when you fill out the app. It only happens if you get turned down. They forward your app off to Paradigm and they call you nonstop.

That's pretty low of Gateway to do this to potential customers.

Yeh it's a good thing I did some research on Paradigm. Once I found out who they were and what they offered I vowed to just let my phone ring until it finally stopped ringing. I can't believe what they are charging people for a crappy laptop.

Yes it is very low of gateway to forward all of their credit applications which i believe are done by citibank, that get turned down, to a credit scam operation.

    But they do it.

And this new gaming notebook has made it really pick up. What a perfect thing to get 18 year olds to apply for credit.

Its a crime. If in fact paradigm had ripped me off Id put gateway in the lawsuit no question. They use a gateway computer.

Just make sure you uncheck the box when you apply. Can't remember what is says but it mentions something along the lines of forwarding the app to an affiliated third party if you get turned down by gateway.
