My fx6860 has it and I use a bluetooth keyboard, when I install the driver I got from gateway it says there is no bluetooth device installed.

I installed vista ultimate and thing with this?

    Unfortunately, no it does not.

You can however, open up the chassis and install a BT module yourself, or just simply use a USB BT module.

i also bought the module from the same guy on ebay but mine didnt arrive in 5 days lol stupid customs and there slow processing. anyway at first i received a defective module so i contacted him by email and he sent me another free of charge :D the second one worked great. i guess the first one either didnt work or the cable was wrong i dunno but great support from him and his respone through email is so fast its kinda like damn do you have a guy clicking refresh over and over on the computer? all he asked for was for me to return the defective merchandise to em and that i would be refunded the amount for postage. i highly recommend you buy from him as everything was great.

as for the installation. its not very hard to take apart the laptop just be smart about it and take your time. all you have to do is plug the cable into the module then to the laptop. mounting the module is really easy as the laptop has a spot for it with some foam double sided tape on it (just remember to peel the top off to uncover the sticky stuff.

I believe they are the same module. It's just a USB device with a Molex connector that is sized for a specific connector (already soldered to the main board). Just like the case and most other parts in this series, I would imagine they are the same from the 6831 through the 7808 (and beyond, if there is a beyond in this series).
